I noticed some of these memes in an office email last year. Forgot about them until now. Enjoy.

This blog is a collection of popular news stories from the capital of South Australia; Adelaide. This blog is not meant to cause offence, unless you are one of the snooty, arrogant and aggressive Adelaidean’s that make our city truly suck. I have lived most of my life in SA but I have also spent a lot of time interstate so I have been very much aware of the city’s reputation of being a very strange place at times.

Adelaide Dolphin found with shotgun pellet in fin
I don't think the pellet actually killed the dolphin but this still seems to be either a deliberate attack or the dolphin somehow received a stray pellet.

Adelaide aircraft sliced up good
It took some searching to actually get any articles relating to this bizarre accident. Here is everything I could find.

Adelaide tool abuses people with CB radio
I don't know exactly why but there are a lot of really abusive people living in Adelaide. I have spent time in all of the major Australian capitals and Adelaide has always been the worst for random acts of aggression.

Adelaide cop deliberately run-over
I will let the articles attached speak for themselves.
I really like the statement made by the police:
"Be a man, come forward, and admit what you've done is wrong because this is a very, very serious offence."
"Don't be gutless, come forward and admit you're wrong."
"Be assured, we will find you, and you will feel the full force of the law."

Adelaide tool pays $60 fine with $0.05 pieces
There are probably some people that think this guy is some sort of hero standing up to the customer service officer but in reality this guy has managed to show everything that is wrong with Adelaide in a single video. Bravo.

Adelaide's firestarting fire-fighter
This story is really strange this guy actually ended up putting out his own arson attack on the truck below. I guess the main thing is that no-one got hurt during the arson spree.

Adelaide car hoons to get cars crushed (again)
I am all for people enjoying their cars and if they can do illegal stuff without anyone noticing or getting hurt I wouldn't look down on them. But there are other lowlifes who will do burnouts up and down your street at 4am waking anyone who can still hear without needing hearing aids. I really hope the cops target the right sort of dickheads with these anti-hoon laws. Nothing is worse to a hoon than having their prized possession crushed or sold by the cops if the car is valuable. Hopefully this wont be knocked out in court again.

V8 engines stolen from Holden's Adelaide factory
This story is quite old but with Holden's current situation and fears the factory will close sometime soon makes it interesting.
Police have discovered that the V8's are being stolen at the factory in Elizabeth and then showing up for sale on places like Ebay. An estimate from The Advertiser indicates that $2.5 million worth of engines and transmission have gone missing. Not good for a factory facing closure.

Adelaide's deadly homebirth midwife
This ladies help with child birth has allegedly led to the death of 4 babies who apparently would have been treatable if they were born in a hospital. Very sad.

The interesting thing about this story is that the car thieves actually asked if the guy was insured indicating some sort of compassion...
